Trying to troubleshoot my reverb issue and was curious if: a - the supplied footswitch works with the reverb (listed as Ext Reverb on the back panel) b - if it does, should the light go on and off? (it stays off)

Well I just dusted off some JJ E34 L's that I had bought last year and re-installed them... It really gives the amp a lively feel.....big and punchy. I originally put them in and used them for about a month...they began to act flaky to I took them out and went for the STR-454 (Svetlanas).

This may sound like a silly question but whenever I add another cab to the rectoverb, the sound of the combo speaker seems degraded. I've been using the 2-4 ohm jacks in the back (8 ohm internal and 8 ohm cab) I'm assuming this correct.
