E34L's in my Rectoverb

Well I just dusted off some JJ E34 L's that I had bought last year and re-installed them... It really gives the amp a lively feel.....big and punchy. I originally put them in and used them for about a month...they began to act flaky to I took them out and went for the STR-454 (Svetlanas).

Hey Tele.....(BTW glad you're keeping in touch) Which EL34's did you use? I emailed Dougs Tubes and he recommended the Winged C's which are a lot more expensive than say the JJ's...any opinion?

And before I forget, the JJ E34L's failed on me again this morning..back to 6L6's
