heres the deal... order tubes from dougstubes.com or eurotubes.com and tell them what amp they have they can select tubes that will run warm in your amp.. mesas might be biased cold, but some tubes can get warm with the cold bias while others need way more.. dont change the amp, just get...

send level, basically there is no on off switch for the loop, so you use that loop to pad down or jack up your signal for plus 4 and minus 10 situations i suppose. it is a great loop though, my dual rec sucks for time based effects... good thing its mostly just a backup now!!!! anyway dude...

So recently my Stiletto effects loop has gone dead, i have replaced the driver tube for the fx loop a couple of times with no improvement... i opened up the chassis and nothing looks burned etc. i tested what I could with a multi meter, and it all seems good... but heres what i realized...

they sell these devices that slip over the top and have springs that keep tension on them... i forget exactly what they are called but should do the trick... i think they are like tube retainers or something

i thought it just said to use the correct setting of the bias switch? i did it for a while and even spoke to mesa boogie about it and asked that specific question and they said its not a problem and nothing bad happened at all... maybe its only in certain rectifiers? mine was 3 channel do...

i aam guessing you knocked some caps off the board when the car rolled, at any rate it will probably only be fixed by taking it to a good tech, it seems like somewhere the signal is not passing correctly and you have already eliminated the tubes. good luck!
