OK guys. I just went back to my dealer an hour ago so the other guitarist could order his Mark V. He put half down. I asked my dealer if he knew for a fact the amp was in full production. He said definitely yes. They had a lot of pre orders and everyday about 70 to 100 more orders are coming in.
All I know is they ordered mine and my friends 3 days ago together. (They ordered an extra. Now they are going to order a 3rd). The Mesa rep said (after production rolling and the number of orders ahead being known) to expect ours in 60 to 90 days but less than 90. I can handle that and hope it's right.

Thanks for the update guy! Some have reported here that they are definately NOT in production yet. I would suspect that what you were recently told is right... with all of the pre-orders before this flood of new ones, it only makes sense for them to be.

So, that would mean that folks who ordered theirs weeks/months ago should see them sooner then that...right?

People who are just now ordering Vs won't see them till late May or June I bet. They've been taking orders since like Jan 1st.

Great. Seems like thats pretty much how we,ve got to leave this thing.(for now!)

But would,nt it be too cool if someone had a brother or buddy on the inside of that place, giving you the complete and full scoop on how many were being built, and/or already built,...sitting at the end of the line for final inspection, just waiting to be boxed and shipped out?

Gentlemen, what we need is a spy!

I don't spam the boards that I work for a dealer 'cause I cuss and carry on too much on the internet  , but I have a pretty good relationship with my rep and I also have an amp on order and as far as I know it's still 'they'll probably start shipping first part of April'.

Now I am no spy but I will pass on what I can :D

Ya'll come right the **** on down!

I'm playing at Base Camp in Five Points tomorrow night, 'bout 11 - 3. Should be fun :D

I spoke with the Hollywood store a few days ago and put down a deposit. They said they've had a few cancellations, so I got lucky and am in the first batch of their combo allocation. (I hope he wasn't BS'n me) We'll see as word travels fast and BS travels faster! He mentioned to me that Mesa's holding up the delivery a bit to make sure everything was perfect. Not sure how to read that? Is there some issue they are fixing before delivery? hmmmm.

Hey vision, thanks for the latest info. I was also going to buy one from them before I went with a local dealer (I,m on the east coast). I,m not too surprized at the cancellations, I quess some folks patience is starting to wear alittle thin with all of the different ship times & infomation that everyone has been getting.

Maybe they caught some some potential problem and nipped it in the bud. Now that would certainly be an understandable cause for a delay.
Did they happen to mention how long, " holding up delivery a bit" might be?

Also, it seems that, with these cancellations, Fractal Audio seem to be the ones picking up afew extra customers because of said impatience. The Ax-Fx seems to have convinced some guys enough to not to continue waiting for this amp. I for one will continue to hold out for the Mark 5 (for now), and wave my tube amp flag,... HIGH!

haha. if you weren't a funny troll...

I am happy to pay a group of men and women in California to build my amp, and if I wanted a cheap chinese amp I'd have bought that.

no contest.

"we don't need no education."

The Mesa guru at the local L&M (where mine's on order...) was told that shortly after one of the NAMM demo units was delivered to a customer, "It broke" ... no further details are forthcoming, but I'm assuming that improving the the reliability of whatever subsystem "broke" is the reason for the production delays.
