    Mark IIC+ Tone Demo

    G-Major & Mark IV Channel Switching

    Yeah, it really is gonna depend on which channels you are going to be switching between, most likely 1 and 3.

    rhythm=mkIIc+, lead=mkIV?

    I definitely agree. Everytime I have A/B'd them, I always felt the Mark IV was better for the Rhythms and the Mark IIC+ was better for the elads. The C+ is much clearer, and really sings on leads, whereas the Mark IV is more deep and chugs better. Could never understand why so many people...

    Amp to run in stereo with Mark III

    Use the Mesa Satellite combo amp. I run mine with a Mark IIC+ and it sounds fantastic! I get stereo effects, fuller sound, and increased volume. And you can pick one up for fairly cheap.

    IIC+ Channels

    I have been able to get great clean tones along with good clean sounds at gig levels. The trick is in how you set it up,vand haveing an outboard effects unit, like a G-Major, which can just drop just the volume of just the clean channel. I run volume 1 at 5.5-6. This gives me the headroom on my...

    Simul-Satellite help

    Are you using it with just a preamp? Then, just send the output of the preamp into the effects return of the Simul-Satellite. If you are going to do a stereo rig with a preamp and another poweramp, which is the best way to use it, send the output if the preamp into an effects unit, then send one...

    NAD: Mark IIC+ !!

    I am a lucky man. Yesterday, I received a Mark IIC+. It was my dad's friend's, and he cannot play guitar anymore due to injuries, so he wanted to give it to someone he knew and would enjoy it. He gave me it for a REALLY good price. Along with it, he's letting me borrow his Simul-Satellite, a...

    This is good for a laugh

    LOL. Its as if anything with IIC+ in its name can be knocked up $1,000, even though there is no such thing as a IIC+ extension cabinet.

    Thats awesome man. I always prefer my vinyl player over CD's, but playing it through a Mark IV would make it much better. :D

    I have heard people say Blue stripe and Red stripes. Not really sure which actually sound more like it though. Don't be afraid of any of the stripes though, they all sound great.

    Which MesaBoogie is for me?

    I would recommend the F-50. You can get one used for around $600-800. They sound fantastic, and they can easily be used at bedroom levels. Plus, they are awesome live! Overall, an amazing amp for the price.

    Just snagged this F-50 off ebay
