I bought the Furman Power Factor Pro and it did... absolutely nothing.. hehe. I still have the same amount of hum.. and the tone sounds exactly the same. It seems to me to be a big clunky expensive box with lights.

I owned a gibson flying vee.. had a Kahler installer (I thought it locked but who can remember?) I remember that the Guitar would go out of tune every time I used the whammy... I ended up trading it for another guitar.

I don't have an "ear" for subtle differences in tone but I hear a very noticeable difference in each setting.

I turned up the Loop Volume knob thing in the back all the way up and then got plenty of gain out of it.. check to see if it's turned up a good amount.
