I have actually RECORDED in a high-end studio using the X2 and the tone was absolutely crystal clear. Actually CLEARER than a cable because no capacitance.

Preset Level does change the overall output onboth INT and EXT settings. I typically just copy my rhythm preset to the next one, tweak it for a louder, solo type tone and save it. Works great. :D

I have used a Line6 Echo Park in the loop of my Lone Star Classic, and it sounds GREAT! It has WAY more features than a typical delay, plus built in tap tempo WITH tap division settings for instant U2-type syncopated delays. :wink:

You didn't by any chance have the send and return cables swapped did you? I have done that on a dark stage. You could get a feedback loop if your effects I/O to the FX loop is not quite right. Just a thought.

I gigged for a couple years with a POD Pro, a Mesa 212 and a 20/20 and it was great. Considering the 1101 sounds MUCH better (to me) than the POD, I think it would be great.

The Yellowjacket option is the reason I went with the LSC as opposed to the LSS. I can ALWAYS get the EL84, 6L6 AND 6V6 tone with the LSC, but the LSS is always just EL84. Rock on
