Hey guys. I just wanted to post some stuff I've been working on. I use the TriAxis obviously, and just thought I'd share with you guys. Feel free to offer tonal advice or comments. :)

Destiny demo

All in Good Time (mix test, no vocals)

Those are the most recent recordings I have for my band, Hylian Lake Effect. All TriAxis. No post effects, no post EQ. Just pan and leveled.

Enjoy.

Quite a few views, no comments. Guess I don't knock anyone's socks off.

Hey Darkalone.

well let me say that was Awesome.

Not my cup of tea, I mean as soon as you add those vocals.

Your have a really good tone going on.

Plus, you don't look like you are using a mega rack.

Do you do any other styles???

I love Heavy Rock, Classic rock, Neo-Classical. Man Any rock.

You differently have the tones there.

It just shows how powerful the Triaxis really is.

Gezza.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kind words.

I really only play metal. I know the TriAxis is MORE than capable of any kind of sound. I do have some nice cleans, some mid-gain kind of tones as well. They're more for flavor though in my music. It's mostly straight up metal sounds for me like 90% of the time. Nature of the beast with this kind of music.

My rig for this stuff is as follows:

TriAxis/2:90/G-Major rack into my Mesa 4x12. Shure SM57 into my Lexicon Omega USB interface. Recorded in Cubase.

On All in Good Time, the left channel is my main sound, my LD2 Yellow with Deep and Modern on. The right channel is my LD1 Red sound, no 2:90 voicings at all. The cleans are Rhythm Yellow with some G-Major effects.

Destiny is the LD2 Yellow setting both left and right. It's still in the writing stage. When it's time to record, I'll use the LD1 Red on the right.

When visualrocker69 hears it ,he will scream like an EMOBABY

well, at the moment I can only listen through some cheap headphones, but from what I hear the tone is very good, compliments

very nice indeed.....i also use a triaixs and love the freaking thing!

do you mind to post your settings for both the lead 2 yellow sound and lead one red?

 I'm so secretive about my settings.

But... since I know I'd hope others would share their settings with me, I'll be happy to.

You know, I never thought it would make a difference, and had mine on 3 for the longest time, like 2 years. Then I just got really dissatisfied with my tone, and no settings changes seemed to help.

So I jacked the output up and BOOM, instant difference. I can't explain it. But it helped me big time. Now I'm back to being 100% TriAxis happy.

I knew it wouldn't be for everyone. But I do appreciate you taking the time to check it out. :)

My kinda music and good playing! I mostly appreciate you sharing your settings. Thanks!

I think these tunes are killer!
Nice job darkalone 8)

I just hope you don't put a screamer vocalist on them and ruin them.ugh

Well, I scream and sing. It's just my style. I try to keep a nice balance though, as my tastes are varied and I don't want to be so monotonous.

You can get an idea by checking out some older songs from my old band, Dark Alone. I used the TriAxis on these recordings too, but my current settings and recording techniques are better. I'm also a much better vocalist now.

You can check out our entire last show too if you want. It's up for download.

I'll do my best to keep it tasteful.
