the 7 is somthin still new to me and the band i love the sonic range of it!! as far as unearth goes there kinda cool, but when i learn up songs other than my own it`s stuff like behemoth, malevolent creation, morbid angel, cannibal corpse.

I think I asked this before but no one answered, so I'll just ask again. Is there a difference in sound between the black chassis and the chrome chassis like the old Fender's?

No, these are just custom options. The difference in sound is in the older 2 channel vs. the 3 channel dual and triple rectifiers. Some of the older DR/TR's were made with black diamond plate and chrome chassis from the factory, including most of the first 500 Rectifiers ever made.

4nkam,is there a reason that you dont keep your gear in a rack, not tryin to disrespect but I would be frightened to leave such lovely equipment out of a rack and stacked up,but you do have some fantastic gear

Yup, the reason is it's nearly impossible to get a rack shipped up here since we have no roads in/out of town. No rack case (not even the baaaaaaaaad cheapos) companies or stores are willing to ship to Alaska because of the size and weight :(

Here's my current gear :

Live setup :
POD XT Live ( using Recto presets )
We use InEarMonitor system with whole band and because POD sounds "good enough" with good PA we always have.
...and we're too old to carry all the backline because we do gigs quite a lot

With cover bands I play I use this + POD Live
-Fender Blues DeVille 2x12” combo

Recording setup :
-Mesa/Boogie 395 Simul Class Switch Track
-Mesa/Boogie Quad Preamp + FU2 pedal
-Mesa/Boogie Midi-Matrix + Abacus pedal
-Mesa/Boogie SUS-4 Shock Mount rack , 12 unit
-Mesa/Boogie 4x12” Half Back guitar cabinet x 2 pcs + road cases
-Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier Head
-Lexicon MPX G2 guitar signal proccesor
-Furman PL-8 E power conditioner
-Roland GP-8 + FC100 pedal
-few stomp boxes

Quad,Simul Class and Midi-Matrix are mounted permanently into my studio's racks so those are already "retired" from live use.
But in recordings those are the ones I use most.

Guitars : ( at this moment )
-Gibson Les Paul Custom –76
-Gibson Flying V –04
-Gibson Explorer -05
-Fender Stratocaster –74
-Jackson Strat Custom Shop –87
-Charvel Model88
-Ibanez RG550 -88
-Musitec Pete Custom Telecaster ( handcrafted )
-Kramer Nightswan -88
-Fender Stratocaster Custom (Floyd Rose , EMG pickups…)
-Fender Telecaster -06 (Texas Special Custom Shop pickups)
-Grass Roots Custom Strat (scalloped , DiMarzio HS-3 pickups…)
-Spector NS4 bass -02

Something like this at he moment .
