Mk IV warranty info

I have owned my mk Iv for about a year and a half. I was wondering was i supposed to call mesa to activate my warranty or do i just wait till i have a problem to use it? I have all the original paperwork from when i bought it. I looked on mesa's website and couldn't really find anything about the warranty. I never received any paper warranty or anything, just the receipt with the serial number, manual, and a small paper card that says "5 year transferable warranty" which tells me to "Refer to Official Warranty for More Details". Any help would be appreciated.
