FS: Mesa Mark IVb Medium Head - !!!SOLD!!!

Hey guys and gals...I'm selling my Mark IV head and it kills me!...I got to pay for school some how...It's an earlier version of the Mark IVb and is in great condition...I actually bought it off of a member here (great guy)...It has brand new tubes all the way around (2 Mesa STR454's and 2 Tung-Sol EL34B's for the power tubes and mixed bag of 12AX7's: Tung-Sol, Penta Lab 9th Gen, Mullard Reissue, Mesa SPAX7, and a Svetlana)...It comes with everything: cover, printed manual and foot switch...It has been well taken care of and there is only on tiny nick in the tolex covering...It has to go and my loss is your gain...Here's the deal I'm letting her go for $1400 plus $50 shipping firm...I want to give my fellow forumites a chance first before I put it on eBay because I love this place and think I should keep it "in the family"...If anybody is interested, please send me a PM on here...Thanx for looking...

Hey Dax,

Sorry to hear that you have to let it go! Is "pay for school" the code you use to keep the wife from knowing that you're buying a Mark V?

I'm still rocking the Roadster and have learned how to coax some really great tones out it. The only thing I miss is the singing lead sound that the Mark IV had in spades. I boost the front of the Roadster with a Bad Monkey for lead tones and it helps a ton.

Good luck with your sale and make sure you replace that amp with a new Boogie as soon as possible.

Ha, that's a good one, lol :lol: ...While this is usually the case, this was the only amp she let me keep, lol...I wish it was code for a new Mesa, but I really do need to pay for school...I only have a handful of classes left before I will graduate and unfortunately, my funds ran out...So, something has to go...I'm really glad you like the Roadster, I still miss her...I used to put a Keeley modded tube screamer in front when I wanted to do a lead and that was all it took to get an amazing lead tone...Keep rocking man.
