How's the turn around time been for sending Mark series amps back in to Mesa lately?

I have two amps with them. one they received on 11-14 and one on 12-10 haven’t heard a peep but won’t bother them - Mike told me three months approximately and now with the terrible fires who knows

mine just arrived today 1/21/25 will try to remember to update (mark iii getting service and ++ mod)they told me expect 8 weeks minimum im pretty sure

my MKIIB from 11-4 just got done this weekend - I spoke to Mike who went over everything he found and what he did - super great guy TOO - he thanked me for sending such a clean MKII to him - he's use to getting some real crusty furry amps sent to him - I asked him about the fires but he said he's 600 miles away but its terrible and pray for them - he said next- mesa will contact me to finalize the bill and get the amp shipped back to me later this week - can't wait !

It’s on email and he contacted me to let me know he was starting it- then he got back when he was almost done - (just testing left) I still haven’t heard back from Mesa for what the total is or shipping- I’ll keep you guys posted

Update: Mike emailed me to let me know he’s been sick all week - that’s why the amp never got out - he really backed up right now but my amp is done should go out this week- I never reached out to him he just wanted to give me a heads up - again great guy

Hi Jerry,

Ok amps headed for playtest soon. Rev tank is ok too


MK2B chassis/revtank #8751 AQmp has been worked on and has most caps already replaced. Had a couple un suited caps, in EQ etc and wrong Q1 installed, fixed those and EQ is good now. Replaced the busted slider. Upgraded the 3 mid and lower EQ coils. Cleaned up and rebuilt pots/pulls as needed. Replaced the power cord, rubber cracking. Cleaned up and restored reverb tank, had rotted foam, OK now. Amp has 12AT7 tubes in 3 places, best with just V4 and all others 2AX7s.



Labor is about 2.5 hrs.....
