I always though K-Factor or K-Rating had to do with the ability to survive heat
generated from harmonics. At $292.00 an ounce, I don't think too many people
are building transformers with it anyhow. It would be cheaper to use gold or platinum.
I also don't see how or why they would have used it at Schumacher in the 80's either.
Palladium is rarer than platinum, so it's never been cheap.

All of you seem to know your mesa's. I'm just a lowly greenhorn. I know I love their hardwood finishes and the iic+ seems to be the holy grail. I guess I'm thankful that I don't have that kind of money b/c I might unknowingly purchase the "wrong" one(and over pay for it).
