Well, I have gone over to the dark side:
I love my MKIII Greenie, but my Carol Ann OD2-100 is the bomb. The THD is used only as a power amp for the effects tone.

Alot of cool amps mentioned here.
There are two that have left a sonic scar on my brain. One is the Mark IV and luckily I have one finally. And the other is the Engl savage 120 which I don't have but will soon as I'm putting my wife on ebay. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
I once had the opportunity for an even trade engl 120 savage halfstack for my dual recto halfstack which had the side armour cab. Well I thought the Engl sounded a lot better than the recto but I was afraid that the guy was taking me for a ride because I didn't realise that the engl was in fact a lot more expensive.
Yup been kicking me self for this ever since.
