Triaxis - difference in main outs / FX send?

Quick question... was wiring up a Triaxis rig yesterday and was wondering... how much stuff is in the signal path between the FX send/return and main outputs? I know the output level control on the front panel is between, anything else worthy of note? (I really don't need the output level...

FS: Roadster 2x12 combo - SOLD

I've got a Roadster 2x12 combo (if you're on this board, you probably know the specs already) with original dust cover + footswitch + casters. Excellent condition overall, works perfectly, sounds great. Was part of a multi-amp rig with a Mark V (already sold) that got completed just in time...

Anyone using a mark V for country music?

I recently joined a country cover band (mostly modern covers, a few re-tooled classics) and am in the process of getting my rig together... I have both a Roadster and a Mark V and have been debating which would be more "country-friendly" (without unloading them to buy something else). Anyway...

    MkIV knob dimensions ?

Very random request... would anybody who owns a MkIV combo be willing to remove one of the knobs on the front and send me the dimensions? I'd like to know the width of the knob at the top, width of the knob at the base (skirt), and height of the knob. (Why? Let's just say my Mark 5 doesn't...

Range on FX send level control - any ideas?

Been trying to get several amps (Roadster, Mark V, Lonestar, ElectraDyne) to play nice with my Line 6 M13... all of them have the same basic FX loop design (series loop w/ send level control). Was wondering if anybody knew... what is the range of the FX send control? How much does it increase...

    Seeking M13 setup tips...

Just picked a Line6 M13, and I'm in that awkward "new gear adjustment phase" where I'm totally intrigued yet totally overwhelmed by all the possibilities. Anyway, I was just looking for some tips on getting it set up. How many folks are running it only in front of the amp? Only in the FX...

videos - the LiquiFire 7 and Crunch Lab 7 in action

Had a little "me time" this week and used it to swap out the stock pickups in my EBMM 7 for the new LiquiFire + Crunch Lab pair. I didn't do the before/after comparison (didn't think about it until after I'd already removed the stock pickups), so this is all "after"...

A little LSS action - video

While I was recording ElectraDyne clips this weekend, I took a few to record a short clip featuring the Lonestar Special. While I'm normally a humbucker-kinda guy, there's something about the LSS that plays so nice with single coils... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOoUgZkHU6g --B

    ElectraDyne in action - video!

Check this... had a bit of free time today to mess around in the studio, and managed to put together this video which demonstrates what an ElectraDyne sounds like in the context of a song... (if you get impatient, the guitar really kicks in at around 4:15 in the video)...

A little Mesa rack gear (Studio pre, Recto pre) in action

Over the past few months I've been writing/recording a CD of original tunes, and the Studio Pre and Recto Pre have managed to make it onto just about every one of the tracks. Thought I'd share some links here so folks can see what sort of tones I was able to coax out of 'em... Last...

FS: Amps (Egnater, Vox, H&K) and FX (Fulltone, Eventide, EB)

Got a handful of gear up for grabs... all of which is in excellent condition... don't think anything has actually left the house/studio. Need help troubleshooting dead reverb in LSS

Came home from work today and unpacked a generally-new-looking-but-used-nonetheless LSS head... first thing I noticed when I fired it up is that I've got no reverb (!) on either channel. So here's what I tried to troubleshoot... 1) checked to make sure the reverb send/return wires were...

Quick recto pre question - squealing issue

Noticed something interesting on my Recto pre today... when I have nothing plugged into either the front or back input, it sends a high pitched squeal through the power amp. However, as soon as I plug something in, the squealing stops. Anybody noticed this before? Any ideas on how to fix...
