Check this... had a bit of free time today to mess around in the studio, and managed to put together this video which demonstrates what an ElectraDyne sounds like in the context of a song... (if you get impatient, the guitar really kicks in at around 4:15 in the video)

The setup for the video is an EBMM Steve Morse guitar into the front of the amp, no FX used, amp running in 45w mode into an Egnater 1x12 cab with a WGS 65-watt speaker. Cab is mic'd with an SM57 and running into a Presonus Digimax FS preamp.

More clips coming soon (after my wife goes to sleep :) )

Nice clip. I couldn't hear much difference between the Vintage Hi and Low. Could you describe the difference?

Thanks... given how "over-produced" most of my recordings end up, it was kinda refreshing to do something with no overdubs and virtually no editing. :)

Ok, here's another video... same setup with the exception of swapping out the guitar for a PRS Mira...

The Mira sounds alot better than the EBMM...I had a Morse Model and It just did not mesh with my Subway Rocket...the pickups were too dark and didn't let the Mesa breathe. I noticed the same thing with the ED....Great song, great playing.

Great song, great playing, great clip!

That's probably the best Electra dyne clip to date. It really showcases its voice and versatility. I had a strong bias in favor of this amp when it first came out. I'm really excited about it now. If only a place in upstate NY would have one long enough for me to demo it!
