How long did it take to get your Boogie when ordering custom options? I would really like to get a different color on my Road King head. Anyone have any pics to post as to give us an idea on what they look like.

I know Mesa made a really fast change to its Road King series. What is the diffrence between series one and two. My next amp purchase depends on this. Thanks.

I was wondering what type of music the now defunct Nomads were made for? I am sure they can do different kinds, but what does it do best if any? Why did Mesa stop making them or did they just relabel them.

Chinese pre amps...SPA is supposed to be special selected. Invest in some different 12AX7's and try 'em. You will be suprised how much better the amp sounds.

I'm thinking of purchasing a Road King II head and was thinking about the old saying "Keep it simple stupid" which I always thought of as a golden rule. All those settings, tube choices, recitifier choices ect. seems really like overkill. A question to all of you RK owners... Is it overkill or...

I strongly suggest that you stay far away from the inside of the amp. Unless you know what your doing, there is enough DC voltage in there to fry your heart and kill you. Don't do it. Fuses and tubes are ok. Anything else and you need to see your amp tech.

I'm an EL-34 guy all the way. Instead of the JJ's, try the SED =C= EL34's
