I saw that you could order different color bulbs for the Boogies on their website, so now I want to make mine a cool purple or something!

How do you go about changing these? Is it just a twist out thing?

I'm always nervous about tinkering with anything electronic, so any help is appreciated.

:D

It't not electronic....all you do is change the cyrstal lens (which screws out).

The light itself is just normal.

I changed mine to blue and love it!

I changed mine to blue. Currently it's back to red. I dunno if Red doesn't suit it better...

Then again the blue gives my blackface the overall "negative image" look.

The red one really makes your amp looked pissed off

I love the blackfaces!

Two amps I still want to own in my life:

A 2 channel blackface, chrome chasis, small logo recto (early)
A Diezel Herbert

I think it makes it look pissed off too!

There's an early 93 on eBay right now. Mine's a little earlier though :p

i am going to try and grab a orange light and some orange LED's to put in it behind the mesa grill to make it match my cab

The jewel off of an old Fender amp fits perfect. I have about 6 different colors. They are available online. Just do a search.

Yeah, I'm down with the green, but it's always kinda fun to freak people out with the really bright, clear jewel.
