-CLIP: Mesa sound with my band. Triaxis/2:90, TC G-Force

I really like your instrumental. Your tone sounds great as well. I am also a TA & 2:90 owner. However, I run a rocktron intellifex thru the loop. I do want to buy a gforce one day but I just don't want to let go of my dough. Would you tell me what modes in your TA you used in the clip. You...

    Triaxis + 2:90 clip.

Did you buy the most recent version? I noticed your comments about recording with Lead 1 Red. Is this correct? I have the second version with the Recto in Lead 1 Red with the Phat mod. However, I don't seem to like it. I use Lead 2 green and yellow for most of my heavy tones. So if you...

    Triaxis + 2:90 clip.

I also own the TA and 2:90. Would you please tell me about the programs you used on each of the clips. I would like to compare with mine. Can you recall what modes you used for each of your recordings? Thanks

    Roadster video test

Dude, I wished more people would do what you have done. I love Boogie Amps and often wonder about the various models. It was great hearing all four of your channels. Spread the word to all forum members. I would love to hear examples for all the Mark Series, Rectos, Stillette, Lone Star and...

Are the Groove Tubes 6L6 GE worth the price for my 2:90?

I have tried the Boogie 6L6 Russian, 6L6 Chinese, and the Groove Tubes 6L6 Rs. I am considering the GT 6L6 GE but they are very pricey. I would like to hear from someone who can advise me. Also, any feedback on their favorite power tubes like mentioned above would be appreciated. Rock on Forum

I need to know if I have a problem with my 2:90 Power Amp

At half power I can crank it all the way up to the max. It's kinda loud but it is not so loud that I can stand in front of it. One side does not have the same umph and the other. I switch the power tubes from A to B and the side with the less umph moved to the other side. So I may have a...

2:90 Power Amp - Channel A vs B is a little less output.

I am wondering if I have a problem with my power amp. When channel A and B and at the same volume settings, my channel A is not quite as loud. I just adjust them so I get the same volume out of each but I have to turn channel A up more than B. Is this common or do you think I may have a...

Who have the newest version of the TriAxis?

I need to know how the Lead 1 Red sounds in the newest version of the TriAxis. How good does it sound? Is it similar to Lead 2 Green at higher gain settings? I have read the description so that's not what I am looking for. I have the version with the Phat Mod but I rarely use Lead 1 Red. I...

TriAxis New Version vs Previous Rectro Version w/Phat Mod

Can anyone tell me which one has the better Lead 1 Red tone? If I prefer the Mark tones should I consider the newest version since Lead 1 Red is the Classic Boogie Lead if purchasing a new TriAxis? I am also wondering how the newest version of Lead 1 Red sounds compared to Lead 2 Green at...

    Who owns the latest TriAxis?

I was wondering how latest version of the TriAxis sounds compared to the earlier versions? How about the LD 1 Red? Is it a definite improvement over the version 2? Are the LD 2 modes the same?

Phat Mod for TriAxis - What is it?

xcpointx is exactly right. I called Mesa Boogie directly today and they confirmed what xcpointx is saying. I am glad to say mine has it. You can tell by the serial number. And yes, my Lead 1 Red is smooth.

Phat Mod for TriAxis - What is it?

Guys, what is the phat mod and how do I know if I have it? I purchase a demo from Guitar Center 6 months ago. I assume it's the version 2 - recto mode. I don't know what everyone is talking about when referring to the Phat Mod. Would someone please explain it to me? Thanks,

Groove Tubes 12AX7-M Mullard reissue review

Same here. I replaced my TriAxis tubes with the GT Mullards. They improved my tone big time! I will never go back the the boogie tubes. I have had too many problems with the brand new one I have bought from them. I liked them so much I put them in my 2:90 power amp as well. I kept on...
