Quad lovers!
According to Boogie, they made 2800 Quad preamps between 1987-1992. I have serial # 1973 and it is an absolutely brilliant preamp. My beloved Quad blows my EXPENSIVE and rare Bogner Fish away. Actually the Fish is more of "The Hot Rodded Marshall sound that the Marshall factory is unable to produce" and therefore they are different preamps. The Quad is my alltime favorite preamp. So smooth, soooo tight and heavy!keep rockin!

I had a 1992 quad. One of the last ones. I don´t remember the serial nr.
The cool thing is that my 2:90 was made the same month. I bought both of them used and from different people.
Sounded really great.

without midi and/or midi/fu2 switch

Mine is 1879. It says: 5-4 90 when looking through the grill on top.

Wired for voltage 220 and one of the few in Denmark.

No midi is build in but there are caps where it is supossed to be. The midi labels is blackend.

Just the amp that's never going to be sold. I love it.
