TriAxis New Version vs Previous Rectro Version w/Phat Mod

Can anyone tell me which one has the better Lead 1 Red tone? If I prefer the Mark tones should I consider the newest version since Lead 1 Red is the Classic Boogie Lead if purchasing a new TriAxis? I am also wondering how the newest version of Lead 1 Red sounds compared to Lead 2 Green at higher gain settings?

I prefer Non Phat mode Lead 1 Red. Although my fave mode was Lead Red 2. The Phat Mod stunk/. I thought something was wrong with the unit actually!
