    MySpace Page

HTML (an internet 'Markup Language' used to creatively display web content) isn't the most user-friendly thing in the world, but if you set aside a bit of time, it is a 'do-it-yourself' project for even a beginner. Here's a link to a getting started page...

Lonestar Classic (50w set on both channels - 4OHMS or 8OHMS?

Love mine too - same unit. I've tried it both ways and ended up leaving it in 8ohm. I've got a Canabis Rex and a Red Coat run in series in my 212.

    Acoustic Bass Amp

Check out Yorkville (Traynor) acoustic amps. They make fine professional PA's and understand full spectrum sound reproduction.

Just one night, but it may be love at first bite...

Thanks all for your help in landing on a new amp: I picked up my Lonestar Classic tonight. It's my first analog tube amp in years, and my first Mesa Boogie ever. A few fascinating hours of reading your posts over the last number of weeks (and a few trips to local dealers) and I knew what I...

Try a soft brush (a toothbrush is a good idea) or lintless cloth plus a weak solution of non-abrasive general purpose cleaner and water, if the water alone doesn't do the trick.

I'm lookin at a Lonestar Classic 2x12 combo that currently has two different Eminence speakers inside: one Private Jack & one Cannabis Rex. What is the advantage of putting two contrasting styles of speaker in the same cab? (The Jack is described as "Thick and smooth, with lots of mids and...

Bargain Nomad vs. Pricier Lonestar: advice please!

Thanks for the insight all, and for the review link, Scott. An aside that should be in a separate post, but in case someone picks it up here: the Mesa Boogie corporate site doesn't seem to have dimension and in particular, weight information on the various models anywhere. Even the product...

    Motorcycle owners on this forum?

Fun people try new things as they wander through life, and certain things are just so good they stick - biking is in the later camp for me (like guitar!). I started with motorcross as a kid ...I've never done any roadracing. I still try to get a good long ride in. This year I did the trip...

Bargain Nomad vs. Pricier Lonestar: advice please!

Great board! I’m a new potential MB user and was looking for some advice. I’ve been reading posts and have an idea as to the flavor the debate on different amps takes, but thought I’d post my particular dilemma. I grew up on Fender product, but have been using a solid state modeling amp...
