Thanks all for your help in landing on a new amp: I picked up my Lonestar Classic tonight. It's my first analog tube amp in years, and my first Mesa Boogie ever. A few fascinating hours of reading your posts over the last number of weeks (and a few trips to local dealers) and I knew what I wanted - it had to be a Lonestar.
Based on only a couple of hours of grinding and tweaking and grinning, I know I'm going to love this thing. It is a tone beast!
Thanks again, all. Great advice!
