I was recently put in charge of redesigning my bands myspace page, but I have no experience with myspace or HTML codes or anything like that. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with designing band pages and could possibly point me in the right direction. Also if you know of a page editor, that maybe goes a little more in depth that the ones that i can find on google. Those seem a little too simple, and don't give me the type of editing options that I was looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!! - Joe.

+1 good request... lots of pages I have seen really suck and then you see an AMAZING one... mine is simple... just used some code for a black background that I got from a friend... and yeah... I would love a devil-horns mouse pointer too if anyone can find me one!

HTML (an internet 'Markup Language' used to creatively display web content) isn't the most user-friendly thing in the world, but if you set aside a bit of time, it is a 'do-it-yourself' project for even a beginner.

Here's a link to a getting started page:

and here's a bit more (if you get this far!).

Finally, remember that HTML is just a tool. Your page will be brilliant ...or suck! ...depending on your basic design (use of color, photos, quality of your writing, etc..).

Finally, there are tools out there ('editors') that can automate much of the HTML process. A warning, though. Unless you've decided that building websites is going to be your new hobby, it will likely take way more time to learn the 'automated' product and how to use it properly than it will be to make simple html edits manually.

Here's an example of a popular one:

Good luck!
