My local store has a road king II head just sitting there waiting to be bought. Music Unlimited in Dublin, CA.
However, I own 2 road king heads. An '02 and an '05. Both heads on both channels 1 and 2 are completely amazing clean tones. On all 3 voicings. Even though, ya, the voicings of the cleans on the series 2 might be different....I think most people are living and dieing and swear by this new series 2 head. It's starting to look like people are almost **** canning the first generation head or selling those heads to get a series II. I really don't think on the grand scheme of things that the second series will be that much different or better.
Just my opinion, but my my 2 RK's have close to perfect tones across the board. No need to bother freaking out over a back order list of the II.
