Trem replacement help

hey guys.

wondering if this is possible

This has the worst trem ever made on it lol.. but there's a huge hole left there so I'm left with limited options.

Can someone please confirm/deny that I can put a bigsby or similar trem on here and somehow cover this hole up or is it more trouble than it's worth? I don't care if the hole is visible but I dont want it to look silly at the same time.

Pretty sure you can add a fitted "block" into the whole, usually composed of a comparable wood to the body type or something better. Custom cut it, then glue it in. Just my 2 cents.
