I just checked every single store listed on the Mesa Boogie website. Not a single one of them ship to EU.
But if I dig deeper on their website and look for Authorized dealers, I find one in my country. They used to sell Boogies, I bought one in 2018. Then suddenly it all stopped. Mesa made new arrangements and deals with this store and others. A new company was set up to handle distribution and keep the prices closer to USA prices, then time passed as they were blaming EU paperwork. Then Covid hit, the contacts started moving to other companies, then the company seems to have died or something.
Now it's radio silence from Mesa Boogie and it has been for a long time.
With the IIC+ Reissue coming up it really bugs me, because I honestly think it will be limited to very few countries, maybe even USA only.
There is 1 store in EU that sell Boogies, and I am pretty sure they just buy it from Mesa Boogie because it has the EU transformer, slap on 25% taxes on top of the US prices, and then they have to make money as well which is probably too much.
The price for a Mesa Boogie JP2C is... try not to laugh... 6026 USD!
If Mesa would allow US stores to ship outside the US then it would have cost me 4431 USD after taxes.
The only alternative is to buy from sites like Reverb or Ebay.
So this is where we get back to the IIC+ Reissue. What is Mesa/Gibson thinking?
