The DSH+ is 17K. The voicing is quite different to my ears. I find the DSH + sounds a lot like a JB with better definition, smoother high and stronger lows.....most importantly is the DSH+'s even midrange response. The JB has an upper mid spike that is not there with a DSH+.
I find the DSH+ very usable but prefer pickups in the 10-13K range....to me that is the sweet spot for bridge humbuckers.
