Stiletto Serial Number Question

I just purchased a Stiletto Duece from Guitar Center for $849. I was surprised to find it, because I thought all of the Stilettos at that price were gone. Anyways, I am sending in the warrenty information, and the serial number is 00176, so I am assuming it was one of the earlier ones. Then on the model number, it says "STL D-BII." Could I have possibly gotten one of the Series 2 models? I am trying to figure out why they would put the Roman numeral 2 (II) in the model number, and how I got such an early serial number.

I believe that unless your Stiletto says 'Stage II' on the front panel, it's a Stage I. BTW I have a stage I and mine had that 'II' as part of the number on a sticker on the box as well.

Do the serial numbers go in order in which they were made though?
