resonating dc5 and distorted reverb

ok, i have 2 questions:

when i was playing a few minutes ago, i noticed a lot of resonance out of my amp, like something was vibrating along with my notes (especialy an A). if i touched the ampchassis, it got a bit demped, but stil hearable, i thought, no worries, let's just tighten the screws, did so, and it remains it is destroying my sound


and i also get some distorted reverbsound when i leave the notes sustain for a while. i first thought of a bad tube, replaced the reverb tube, still the same. maybe i need to do the 1-wire mod from the marks on my amp too?

I had a problem that sounds similar to yours on my DC-5. It turned out to be a rattling power tube and a couple of the preamps were getting microphonic too. Luckily I had some spares to swap around and locate the culprits.

the vibrating sound is my chassis that is vibrating, not a bad tube

the i just put al my tubes in my tubetester, all came fine, no leaks, no microphonic, ...

i think i need to retighten also al my pots etc, ..


but what about the distorting reverb?
