Girugamesh probably actually had the best tone.

I'm not a huge tool fan, but I'm pretty sure they use rectos. stop me if i'm wrong

Early Tool (undertow) days were mainly Dual Recs I believe. Currently I think he uses Diezel VH4's for the most part.
