All the links I've found for the Mark V Editable Settings PSD are dead, including the one on the Petrucci forum...

Could anyone send this to me, or maybe upload it to zshare, dropbox or similar? Address is jedens at gmail. I'll upload it for others once it's sent to me.

Thanks!

just sent it to you

Thanks man!

A couple links that will hopefully last a while...

Damn, didn't realize 4share requires an account to download... The second link works fine with no account, though. To others if the second link dies someday: signing up at 4share is of course free.

I'm not sure it'd be possible to convert it to PDF... You'd probably have to make a PDF version from scratch and I'm not sure if it'd be possible to get the knobs and faders working like you can do with the PSD. Basically though it's just the blank preset page from the manual with working controls, so you could always screenshot the manual PDF, save as a BMP/PNG, open in Paint and draw dots to show knob/fader positions manually. Same effect... Or just print the PDFs and use a pen old fashioned style :p

thanks farren for the tip i will do it that way,,,maybe ill just sign up at 4share.....but i like old fashion style too!!

Did anyone try to dial in the MV with a Soldano. Im trying and can't seam to get the damn thing down. Any suggestions.

I have a HR50 and have AB ed them. The closet I found is M1 setting with a big bass cut and presence almost maxed. The M2 setting with low gain and similar eq. Im trying to nail the Warren Haynes tone with the MV. Its missing the mark I guess...get it mark. Ok bad joke. Anyone else as crazy as me???

Do anyone have any nice channel 3 settings for a telecaster? I can't really seem to get a nice lead sound out of it.

Here are mines so far.

Hey guys.

New here on the forum, I have had a Mark V for a few hours now to try out. Thought I'd get a sample of the tone I've come up with so far and share it.
I'll update if I revise it and get it any better.

Just recorded another demo with these settings. Put a bit more time in to getting the mic position right.

Here is mine. I like low wattage and nice thick midrange. Having the midrange this high with the presence this high I find gives me a nice thick, but still wide sound on low wattage. Pentode mode.

Where did you get the faceplate template?

My favorite Channel 3 Extreme setting right now...biting cleaner gain that kills with my Gibby Explorer...key is getting the channel volume and master up high enough to sound its very best.

Anyone have any Channel 2 Tones they really like for C Tuning?

As best I can from memory, not by my MKV right now.

Neck pickup, Channel 2, Mark I
Gain 12:00
Master Vol 1:00-3:00
Presence 10:00
Treble 2:00
Mid 12:30
Bass 10:00
Mark I Thick engaged
90w

I use this setting with my band, we play in C standard tuning as well. Good for some Kyuss worship for sure. I'll get a pic up in a bit.
