mini recto questions

Hey, so Today I tried out a dual rec pre 2010 solo head.

I thought it was pretty good but not compressed enough for my likings.

today my buddy also bought an Orange Dark Terror head whoch has me want a lunch box head (that and the practicality for me right now)

so mini recto? how does it compare to the solo head? or am i barking up the wrong tree?

My advice would be to give the Mini Recto a chance. Personally, I am very impressed with the great sounds that I am achieving from it!

I would defo go for the mini recto. I just bought one and am more than impressed with it. You can read my full post about it in the forum here. I toyed with the idea of the dark terror but had a feeling it would not be loud enough for my gigging needs so ended up with the Mini rec. i would NEVER look back. The mini may be far more expensive but it really does justify every penny of the difference. Its better built, has a full eq, two channels, more power, looks cooler, and hey, it sounds like its bigger brothers down to a tee if not even better than them....And im coming from playing a pre 2010 dual.


Mesa really got everything right with the mini i think. Even the clean channels sound great. I can see it taking over from my dual for most applications.
