well its a combo. i want a head. but i was thinking and if adc-5 could get the tone of those videos, i would get a dc-5 head cuz i can find them and there pretty cheap too. can they

I would think it could. The Graphic EQ makes it incredibly versatile.

The advantages that the 10 has over the 5 are:
Projection - It just moves so much more air
Thump - 100 watts has much more headroom, which translates into the cleans being cleaner longer and a little more extended bass.
Granted, I have never played my DC-5 through a 2-12. Just might have to do this sometime soon.

Other than that, they have the same features. The 5 is lighter and smaller than the 10.

alright. so does the dc-5 even have a clean channel. cuz all the ones i have looked at they are rhythm and lead channels. is the rhythm channel the lead channel???

Rythm is the clean channel. You can make it spanky clean or bluesy dirty or downright classic rock crunchy.

All of the DC's have 2 channels.

I think that the DC-5 can easily nail those tones. It is a little darker than the DC-10.

As I mentioned before. I own a DC-10 2x12 combo, that I run thru 4x12 cab and the sound is massive... Cleans are awsome, and the drive is lush and thick. If you have an option go for DC-10 combo and 2x12 extension, so you have a very versatile setup, for smaller gigs a combo and for bigger a stack. Plus it looks F#$%$#% wicked! JMHO
