A few ppl requested heavier clips... unfortunately I don't play metal. I did TRY some Petrucci and LOG, and I lost the use of my left hand for two days... yikes!! The Doc says the nerves should regenerate in a month or so... maybe.

Here are some hard rock clips, hope it helps. I took danyeo1's suggestion, read the manual, rolled back the bass and mid, treble up, EQ on. If the sound is better, props to him, if it is still poop... that's on me. ;-)

It may just be the way you have it dialed in but I gotta say that it sounds terrible. Hopefully there's more to it than the few clips that are floating around.

Man, thanks for taking the time, they sound good, better than the first go round. Clearer would be a good description for me, as it looks like you dropped the low mids. As you have the amp longer, get more used to what it,s capable of, your tone will start to take shape and evolve...it,s a work in progress, and you,ve only had it for acouple of weeks or so. Sounds good man, keep it up!

By the way...hope you were,nt serious about the nerve damage! Some of Petrucci,s stuff is hell to play!

Poop in the ear I say  Go to CVS and get some of that ear wax remover....that's the problem :x

Those clips sound great to me

Thanks for the listen and the posts guys, both good and bad... Please keep in mind I am a total classic rock player, a Marshall Jubilee and an SLO guy... I am probably the worst person to be giving clips. I couldn't shred if you put a gun to my head.

Those settings were on CH 3, Mark IV... I tried to scoop the mids... A Strat with a Duncan PG in the bridge. I'm just trying to give people some idea of the sound. No doubt a proper set of clips will be along soon...

These amps are different, lol... this aint no Marshall, or a Soldano... I aint got time for that now.

Roll the bass to off?? HUH?? Hmmm.... I'm still learning.

Thanks for your time and feedback ppl... Very cool.

classic Mark settings include Bass around 0-2, Mids at 0-5, Treble at 6-8, Presence 0-4, Gain as Treble, Volumes up real high.

Yeah, it's just where the knobs fall when shaping your tone. Keep the bass lower on the dial then add it in with the graphic EQ.

I thought they all sounded pretty decent. But I like all those songs so I'm unbiased, so to speak...

I'd really like to hear some LOG riffs off of Ashes of the Wake. that album is maximum badass!

or how bout some fusion John Scofield or Frank Gambale modal stuff???

create!

In no way am I envy of this amplifier. By all means does this amp sound tigth but personally, I prefer a more saturated gain sound, these particular vids didn't have that in them. Note thats why I said it just may be the way he has it dialed in.
