I am trying to get a new G System to channel switch my Roadster. I know this issue was a dead horse a while ago, but when switching channels with the G System I am getting enormous POPS and SNAPS!!! Not just once either, as I remember it being claimed (it goes away after the relays have been used once or twice - like hell...).

I might get a minute or so of quieter pops if I do that, then if I stay off channel 3 for any period of time I get a viscious SNAP going back in. I have had this amp for two years and never done anything with it (I got a BadCat and a Stilletto not too much after I got this, and I had a Mark IV for a while, so this didn't get a lot of air time.) Now I want to see if I can get it to work with the G System, but its sounds like Bring your kid to work day at the Bubble Wrap factory every time I play it. Has a fix been found? Is there a Jonas Salk of the amp world out there with the vaccine, a soldering iron, and a rectal probe? (Don't know what that is for, just like saying rectal probe...).

Thanks folks - great resource as always.

The best I can see when I play is that at low volumes it's really loud. I was playing quiet late at night, using it on below bedroom levels, and it sounded like a Black Cat exploding. At high volumes, it's almost inaudible or completely nonexistent. I really don't understand how this issue hasn't been fixed yet by Mesa, it seems like a simple problem with a simple solution like adding a bleed resistor to wherever this static charge is building up, and especially for a ~$2000 amp which has been out for a few years now. Has it been nailed down to which models have it? i.e. Roadster Head, Combo, Road King head, combo?
