from a mark III auction:

" Mark III's had gotten a rep for being "brittle" sounding because it was the first amplifier that Mesa made Using PCB's. Mark IIC+'s and every amp they made prior were point-to-point wired if I recall correctly. "

do i even need to explain why this is rediculous?

So this guy is saying that his auctioned item actually sucks?

no.
he is pushing the fact that it has the "c+" mod.
i'm not including the link because i still might bid dispite that absurd statment.

at least this seller was cool about it. he posted the question in the auction.
usually if i email a seller and question them about their made up bullshit, they get really defensive and respond with something like "well who the f**k are you??!11?"
like its some pissing contest.

you try and help someone out by pointing out a blatent piece of misinformationl, potentially saving them from having to deal with an angry buyer after the item is sold, and most of the time it is met with some hothead getting defensive.

its always ammusing.
