92dual rec. info

hi everyone,im wondering what the deal is on this amp here's all the info i can find, s/n ro726 the pt is #561136 other numbers on it are eia606-232,,, the ot is #562100 other number on it is, eia606033 on the side of the chassie it reads on a piece of masking tape rec.c#39 117v. circuit board says initials m.s. 9-92 and its the rf1f board ,,choke#is 550381 eia606-226 ,,it reads on the chassie 10/1 92initials ivy, m.b,,,it has a few other peoples names on other parts to kind of hard to read though,,,is this the good circuit board? or can i get mesa to change it to the way the 1st 500 are,,i read posts on here about dual rec history and the 1st 500 seem to sound like they are killers!! any info you have is appreciated :!:

or do i really have it................mwahahahaha. closest i got is 29 man. and it's an RF-1C, same as yours. i think that's the lowest number i've heard of yet. i honestly don't care much what number is what. as long as it sounds good every day, then there's a smile on my face. it's cool though, just to think that one of their earliest amps sits in my house. it's cool to imagine what they thought when they first heard it.

looking....very....very...nice!!!! sweet sweet deal. i really dig the double chrome thing. that looks just like the others i got, except your transformers are clean enough to prepare a meal on. Don't let it go!!! I bet it sounds sick!

hey thanks epelotero for all the info! the shell is realy clean to i guess the guy who had it before me didnt gig it,,,i know i will never sell it!!i made that mistake already with the 93 i had,i figured i can always buy another,lol!it realy sounds great,,i talked to mesa and they didnt want to tell me anything about revisions,guess i was talking to the wrong guy,said he has only been there 4years,, i just wish they would make 2channels again ,,hell they should make them like the 1st 500,,i bet they would sell a boatload!! im looking for new tubes,,any suggestions?

I thought the first rectifiers had the small mesa logo? I've got R0050 and it has the little one. Is it a new shell?! I was thinking of getting one for mine but I thought it might lower the value of the amp by not being all original.

yeah they do i just switched it out with my 97 triple to see how it looks,i like it!and the triple looks killer blacked out :twisted: i need to switch out the knobs to ,,i had #904dualrec...and it had the small logo blacktread chrome chasie to,,a new shell might bring down the value to some people ,,although the sound is what matters!i kinda like the small logo to!!you can always get a new shell for yours and if you ever go to sell it just change it back to the small logo ,that way you wont beat the **** out the old one!

i just put up a pic of both of them sorry about the quality ,i need to borrow a good camra again!!!also im going to rip the chasie out the triple and see what board it has ,triple seems to have bigger tranies ,i guess cause it has more watts??????????????? i need to new tubes for the dual,,i want the meanest brewwwwwtal tubes i can get,,any ideas>>>>????????,,,,,
