First time caller, long time owner....
And a proud owner at that of a long head MK III simul-class blue stripe with EQ and reverb that I bought second hand in 1988 or 1989. It's been gigged many times yet it looks almost brand new. (It's been well taken care of.)
The only work I've had to do on it was to replace the reverb tank that did and of course the tubes as they wear. It could probably use a tune-up at the factory, but it still sounds great (and I'm afraid to ship it for fear of it getting damaged).

If I could only own 1 amp, this would probably be the one.

Cheers to the group.

Well… I still have a soft spot for a Mark III

Would be nice-to-have but for live use and ease-to-use the current Mark V delivers 😁

The only thing I really find lacking on the MK III is the FX loop. For most things it's fine, but hard to get a delay working through it as well as I'd like.
I would love to check out a Mark V but I don't know of any stores in Seattle (USA) that have anything other than used Boogies.
