hi

wanna do some small 2C+ mods for easier function:

instrument jack down to channel switch jack

channel switch jack to the back and

move the presence pot to the front instead of instrument jack

easier tone adjustment including visible presence pot
and an easy to do mod....
any comments or ideas ?

second step would be to mod the master 1 pot to reduce the big increase of loudness between 1,5-2,5
by stretching the log? or lin? resistance with a resistor parallel or in series.........

any ideas? let me know.....

kind regards

These mods are pretty easy to do. The presence pot may need to be changed to a smaller sized pot, but the wires and resistor can all be made longer to go in the front. The foot switch just needs to have the white wire lengthened to move it to the back. The master volume pot on C+'s post 13,200 already have a 22K series resistor for the Master Volume. The early ones have a better taper, but the amps are still pretty loud. Adding more series resistance is not going to have too drastic an effect. The taper is not really going to help either. Like the MK III and MK IV, they are all loud and get loud quickly.
