I feel with any Mesa product you're competing with their price as new when it comes to resale and value. If the V:25 retail price has gone up since you bought it then you're good. The extra wattage comes at what I would say is a hefty percentage increase. The only way you lose resale value is...

When I punched up the volume I thought the settings were pretty spot on. It was kinda funny because my personal settings, having not seen what he was using, were pretty close as is. I suspect my guitars sound darker than his and I suck at playing, both influencing the differences.

Wife let me have it early. Long story short I was gonna buy it on Black Friday and she decided it was a better gift and bought it instead making me wait. I'm digging mkIV mode with my EQ scooped for everything. Still in a honeymoon phase but this is the first time MY SOUND was right there.

Anyone run either head with the oversized slant cab? I have a few I can grab but won't be able to test the head with it. My concern is it being too flubby as some people mention.
