No prob Music man, I did get ahold of an EV Force 12" which I find is much closer in volume to the Thiele than the V-30. The EV seems to be a pretty powerful speaker. It does not color the sound at all. I got it used for $80.

Music man, I use my Thiele cab w/C-90 together with my F-30 w/Vintage 30 stock speaker and I find the Thiele over powers the combo speaker. do you think that is because of the cab or did you find that the C-90 was more efficent and thus louder than the V-30. Art

I agree totally, but the Bogner EQ is also active, very active. I know, I have one. I like that kind of EQ, that's why I have a Mesa. If you think that amp is all about gain though, you really need to try one, because its not. Again, I'm not saying it sounds better than a Mesa, I'm saying it...

I am not, now would I ever take anything away from Mesa, I love my F-30, but the Bogner does really sound good in its own way and I plan on keeping both, along with a few others. My only point was that you should keep an open mind and if something looks interesting, try it out. Art

I run my F-30 together with my Thiele cab, it has always been loud enough for the band. It's nice when you can run the volume up to 1 or 2 o'clock to really get the amp cookin'. I love that amp. Art

+1 for GHS Fast Frett, I used to change strings every month and I was wiping down the strings after every use. Now that I have been using this product my strings really do last much longer while retaining their sound quality. Art
