fuse popped in my Triple Rec also (i wasnt there;i found it with a black fuse laying behind it), and it turned out to be just the fuse. if you're not sure of which fuses to buy, ask someone here (4amp sloblo in my Trip.)

i'll second this, i had bought a used Triple Rec, and a brand new Traynor YCS412 w/ V30's, and thats exactly what i had experienced. but now....sweeeeeeeet :D

i use the maxon od808 in front of my triple, and love it dearly. ive used a ts=9 tubescreamer in front of it, but didnt like it as much (was still awesome tho)

show me how to combine a rectifier and mark iv, and i'll join the club. 2 cleans (1 rec, 1 miv), 2 rhythym (rec modern voicing), 2 lead (mark IV lead)

get a maxon od808 - i have one in front of my Triple Rec and it helps to tighten it up very very well. ive also heard using a graphic eq (like a boss ge7 or somethin) in the effects loop helps tremendously, tho im sure other ppl can chime in on which frequencies to adjust. but yea, get a maxon...
