I have same issue with my mark V...only on channel 1 and with fx loop even with gain rolled off....i sent the amp to the assistance and I can't believe they doesn't know what's the problem...

exactly...first thing they said were " All mark V have this issue, they squeals. It's like mesa wants Mark V in this way so if you send your amp back for this reason is completely unhelpfull" Are they kidding me?? Does anybody own a Mark V that does not squeal?

I don't pay nothing because I'm still in warranty period. I tryed to change one tube a time but no results...maybe the problem is more than one tube... I hoped assistance would shipped new tubes to me, but they want me send the amp instead, so... i had to do it. I did describe sintoms in this...

Did you use any pedal to achieve that sound? mine does not soud like that...maybe are the pickups?

Owner's manual says that squeal sounds are caused by 1 or more microphonic preamp-tubes.. So today I called the assistance who said that for these Mark V is "normal" have this issues... NORMAL WHAT? I shipped today my amp to them...and they said maybe will have to modify something in amp...

i have the same issue with ch1...I don't understand why many pepole like us have tube problems like that...what mesa is doing to avoid that?

in my case, I use "clean mode" and I don't have enough volume... :\ .. plus, i can't put gain and volume over 12:00 or my tubes squeal...with output level at h14:30...is that normal or my tubes are wired ? anyway...i have to try fat and tweed mode.. one ore thing: Are there sound differences...
