Stiletto Ace (Head), I don't think I need more than 50 watts. I'm thinking of having my recto (2ch) setup for orange clean/ Red Modern HG Rhythm and the Ace for low gain crunch/Modern HG lead running through the same cab in stereo. I heard this dood at the music store playing it an it sounded...

A Recto preamp maybe??? I heard people say they like rectos better for recording than live so... :?

Wow! That's heavy... :twisted: D'you think I could achieve Satriani like tones with it?? I might be getting one soon, I've been looking for a amp for smooth high gain leads and low british gain... I have a Dual Rectifier, which I like better as a rhythm amp... What do you guys think???

Voodoo amps did the standard mod on mine, and I LOVE IT!!! If you like the recto tone and think it could sound better, this is the thing to do. More clarity, punch, and less buzz, tighter bottom, but it'll still sound like a recto. Best customer service.<---PERIOD Call him up that's the best...

hey, thanks... yeah, I have PC(winxp) and AMD processor. I'm totally getting a SM57... but there's so many USB/firewire recording devices out there :? I'm kind of lost. The Line 6 Toneports, Mbox2 mini and E-MU 0404 seem promising... should I just save up some more $$$ and buy something more...

Those are great amps! plus reverb... and not very expensive... 8)

I can't really say welcome, 'cuz this is only my 2nd post but welcome anyway... It all depends on how much are you willing to spend... but I'm sure all those styles are covered with a Road King... Hope it helps...
