What is the typical life of power tubes when used moderately?

The amp is not making any noises, but is starting to sound a little "flat" for lack of a better term. Could just be my ears. I am looking to fine tune it though. The tubes are probably a year or 2 old.

What are the tonal qualities of the KT77's?

How is the OD 808 on a clean channel(Roadster). Does it work well to give a little grit (light-medium gain tones) or is it better off used as a clean boost?
