Just tried it on mine. With the volume for the channel down, I played a chord and brought the volume up slowly. You can faintly hear the sound with the volume all the way down, and it definitely really kicks in around 9 o'clock. There is sound before the 9 o'clock position, it just seems to pick...

Sweet rig! I had a chance to play a JP6 the other day at guitar center and I just loved it! I've had the pleasure of owning a sweet PRS Custom 22, but I sold it to fund my Mark V! I do not regret that however. Again, sweet rig and rock on!

I had the same trouble with mine, too many repeats under high gain but awesome on cleans. I could never find a middle ground that worked well for both channels. I know it's silly, but I went to a two delay setup, one for cleans and one for gain channels.

I used to have an Express before I bought my Mark V. It is my opinion that you can't get the sounds you mentioned with this amp without boosting it. Don't get me wrong, the burn channel on the 5:50 sounds awesome to my ear, but the sounds you mention are more like what a Recto would provide...
