    Channel Disparity?

I'm pretty happy with my Dual Recto set at Red/Modern Orange/Vintage. But I've noticed that if I switch the Orange channel to Modern, then it's probably twice as loud as the Red channel... and if I have Red on Vintage and the Orange on Modern, then Orange is easily ten times louder than the...

    BAD Boogie

So... I re-tubed the ol' Mk IV a few weeks ago, and ordered a Weber speaker just to see what the big deal was all about. Today, when I took apart the amp, I was slightly dismayed to find one of the speaker mounting screws was snapped in half and jammed into the speaker frame... but imagine my...

    Somebody 'splain this to me...

Come to think of it, my Mk IV actually only says "Boogie", I've just always called it a Mesa Boogie.

    Somebody 'splain this to me...

*(Sorry in advance if this has been asked a million and one times)* My 14 year old Mark IV is a "Mesa Boogie", and my brand spanking new Dual Recto is a "Mesa Engineering". What, if any, is the difference?
