    First gig with LSC...

Strumminsix.. Congrats! Sounds like it went well. What type of music do you play? Tonight I'm doing my second gig with the LSC and I'm thinking of changing my settings to go to about 12:00/1:100 on the output and solo and keep the channel masters at around 9:00/9:30. Now I will be giging with...

LSC - using FX loop, but no FX

Right above the knob, it shows the 11:00 - 1:00 range as "Normal". I'm going to be trying some effects through the loop (Chorus, Phaser, Delay and Tremolo) and would love to hear about anyone's experience doing this.

    6v6 in lone star classic

Mesa told me you should expect to get 40W out of 6v6's in an LSC. I would think it would sound more like a beffed-up Deluxe Reverb.

    6v6 in lone star classic

Yes. The LSC can take 6L6's, 6v6's or EL84's.

Bump! Is there no one who has done this? I'd love to try 6v6's, but I don;t want to be a pioneer. :-)

Is it possible to get the same grill cloth that Mesa uses?

    LSC 1X12 / 2X12

The LSC 1x12 puts out a surprisingly big sound for a single speaker. I'm quite happy with it so far.

Mesa Lonestar classic Verses LSS Verses Mesa Maverick

Are both of you running the POD in the effects loop with no amp modeling? Have you tried it in front of the amp?

Mesa Lonestar classic Verses LSS Verses Mesa Maverick

SabusJSE, Are you using the LSS in a live situation? My side by side comparison of the LSS and LSC definitely showed the LSS not being able to stay pristinely clean at higher volumes. Of course this is all very subjective. They are still both great amps. I'd really like to discuss your use of...

Mesa Lonestar classic Verses LSS Verses Mesa Maverick

The LSC has incredible clean tones. But for home use, I think it is overkill. There has got to be a less expensive solution for what you want ,specially using the PODxt. Maybe get a couple of great monitor speakers and a goodsound card for your PC and play through the computer.

Looking to buy a Lone star. HELP!!

Fendertillnow.... As for deciding between a 1x12 or 2x12... I have the LSC 1x12...I compared it to the 2x12 and liked the sound better....something about all the room that speaker has to resonate in the cab.....another thing to consider is 72lbs vs 87lbs!

    First Gig with Lonestar Classic

Well, I've had my LSC 1x12 for about 2 months now and all my gigs so far have inlcuded backlines, so I haven't had a chance to road test it until last Saturday night. Although I use some pretty clean tones, I had Channel 1 set up at 100W with the Gain at about 3:00. I find that this is still...

    Just played a F-30, now I'm confused????

I've heard that the Crates aren't very road=worthy. They sound good, though.
