Okay guys, last weekend I replaced the power tubes and it didn't fix it. I just replaced all 5 preamp tubes (it needed to be re-tubed anyway) and it's still doing it!!! I spoke with Mike Taylor (i think) at Boogie and he said it had to be a preamp tube. So what's next? A trip to the amp...

While I playing either channel, the volume drops very low and gets very fizzy? I figured it was power tubes to I just replaced them tonight...it still does it. Could it be preamp tubes? The amp is about 5 years old and has been taken care of quite well, so it's not abuse on my part. Any advice...

I've been interested in getting a 2x12 Maverick. GC here in Atlanta has one in pretty rough shape for $750. Is that about average price? I've only played a Maverick once, but I was very impressed. My main rig now is a Dr. Z Maz 18. I just don't know if I want 2 amps with EL84's or not.
